“Fakultas Kopi” Serve Gayo’s Coffee in Tourism and Culture Exhibition

Fakultas Kopi, a restaurant which serving Gayo’s coffee and Acehness traditional food, Aceh stand in Tourism and Culture Collection exhibition that took place, 26-29 May at Jakarta Covention Centre (JCC).

During the exhibition, Gayo’s coffee is served for free to visitors Aceh stand.

“We serve coffee with palm sugar, as Gayo community tradition when drinking coffee,” said Agam, restaurant Fakultas Kopi owners.

He brought coffee of some of the gardens in Pegasing and Jamur Laya Aceh Tengah. Agam claimed to have their own coffee plantations in Aceh Tengah.

Cold Brew
At Aceh stand its also display Cold Coffee (Kopi Dingin), coffee that processed by Cold brew technique from Sindikat Kopi, Jakarta which using coffee bean from Jamur Laya Aceh Tengah.

Cold brew is a process of steeping coffee grounds in room temperature or cold water for an extended period usually 12-18 hours. By brewing the coffee at lower temperatures, many constituents, such as caffeine, oils, and fatty acids do not completely dissolve, resulting in lower acidity and lower caffeine content when brewed in equal volume.
